Should I talk to a doctor about my period?

Every time I start my period I get sick. I vomit around 3 times the first day, have severe cramping, hot/cold flashes, and my stomach gets upset. I also get very shaky, and all I can do is sleep. These last only the first few days, but the cramps stay with me the whole cycle. My period normally lasts over a week, too. Is this normal for some women or should I talk with a doctor?

When you buy your health insurance and make a major claim you usually claim much more than the premiums that's you've paid for the coverage. That extra money doesn't come from magic pixies poofing it into existence it comes mostly from the premiums that others have contributed (corporate organised socialism or what). The more healthy people that contribute the cheaper your insurance and twenty somethings who are now covered are contributing to the pot of money. Why do I feel like my brain functions better at night?

I'm an atheist in highschool. What should I do?

I live in Orange County CA which is very conservative and christian. I am a 16 year old gay leftist atheist. The gay part actually isn't what gets me into trouble. I don't know what to do. I've told people I'm an atheist and I get picked on for it and people treat me like a leper (very christian of them...). When Prop 8 was being debated I remember the people in my middle school chanting homophobic slurs and slapping 'yes on 8' stickers on everything, I guess it's because their parents. I was with a very popular girl in my school once and we were chatting, all of a sudden she asks me if I go to church. I answered "No". She asked me why and I said because I don't believe in god. She freaked out, called her friends over, and told everyone I don't believe in god. Her friends started asking me all these questions, and I could see she was crying a little. She asked what happened after we die if there is no God and I said 'nothing'. She apparently went home, told her parents and cried to them, and I was called to the principals office. The school principal told me not to speak out your personal beliefs, I understood and said yes. But now I still get harassed. I can tell that everyone knows I'm an atheist and hates me exactly for that reason. I was popular until I answered that one question the girl asked. I can tell even the teachers treat me differently. I go to a public school btw. I hate this. I hate everyone in this piece of crap southern california beach town. I can't talk to my parents about it, since they are ultra conservative bible thumpers. I've had to HIDE the books "The God Delusion" and "God is not great" under my bed so they can't find out. I will never tell them who I really am until I move out... It can't happen in Fenway, because all games are sold out. I have a different view from you, because I have been one of those chanters in Joe Robbie Stadium (or whatever its name is this week), Angel Stadium, Petco Park, among others. If 1,500 Red Sox fans can out shout 10,000 Ray fans in Tampa or 40,000 Angel fans in Anaheim, so be it. In my personal experience, Red Sox fans are loud and spirited and the fans of some other teams are comatose.

Whenever I watch or read programs about the fight for civil rights in the 1960's, they always portray people marching in support of school integration. My question is, did black people at that time really want to integrate public schools? I can vividly remember large groups picketing outside my school, but they were chanting "Hell, no - we won't go!" Meaning they did not want to leave their school. This confuses me. Can someone who knows a lot about that era and the civil rights movement explain the conflict between my memories and what is written in the history books? Also, I have friends that went to school at that time in Long Island, New York, who told me that there were no black students in their school the whole time. Is my fish dying or laying eggs?

Alright so I got this fish 2 months ago exactly and when i got her i thought it was a dude until I checked "how to tell if your goldfish is a dude or a chick" and I realised it was a girl. Its had a big belly since I got her so I just thought she was fat. I feed my fish once in the morning at 6am and once at 10 pm. I got another fish and think he's a boy (not sure, he's not completely grown yet) I haven't changed the feeding, its still the same amount (like 2 1/2 fish flakes the size of half a fingernail each) so I don't think im overfeeding. Anyway, I looked at my tank before I left tonight and my girl fish was belly up but still breathing and taking a long poop (sorry but that's how i describe it) and i thought the balls were air bubbles and she was dying because she had air in her tummy but then i touched one and it didn't explode like i thought air bubbles would. So i thought that was weird and i was tapping the bowl so she would swim around chanting "fight Laquisha! Fight for your life!" and then I cried (naturally. These are my first pets) And 2 hours later I come back home and she's STILL breathing, belly up, taking her poop. So at this point I went online to check what fish eggs look like and Im pretty sure they're fish eggs but I don't think the girl fish are supposed to be belly up :/ is she gonna die? Is she already dying? Also, I scooped out the male goldfish and put him in a bowl for the night in-case she does die. Don't want him getting sick...or eating the eggs. Also, I cleaned their tank 2 days ago and the water is murky. Im like...80% sure the male fish isn't ready to spawn yet so idk why its like that.... Please help :(

Why does my computer keep making this noise?

So a couple of months ago my boyfriend scared me and I kind of threw my laptop off the bed. I think something may have gotten knocked lose because now once in awhile it makes a really loud whirling noise! I don't think it's the fan because it's not overheating and it's not due to a disc being in my computer either. My laptop doesn't lag or freeze when this happens, but I always shut it down and leave it off for awhile to be on the safe side. It usually happens if I pick my laptop up a certain way.

I have been having bowel/intestinal discomfort for some time now, what is wrong with me?

I'm not entirely sure how to even phrase all of this, but it seems for the last few months I have been having digestional problems. I frequently feel the need to poop, but when i do, it is usually just gas, or if anything comes out, it is usually very watery, sometimes with stuff that looks like mucus, it usually comes out in a yellowish tint. After that is out, I still feel the need to poop, like i am constipated, but no matter how hard i push, nothing comes out. It has been a few days that I have felt like this, and i'm sure it is probably just something like constipation, but after reading things up on colon cancer, I'm kinda paranoid right now :/. In the last 3 weeks my body has kind of been thrown into a whirl, my brother was in a bad car accident, my dog went missing, bills are piling up, so i don't know if stress could be a factor as well. It keeps me from sleeping, due to the frequent bathroom visits (atleast one every other hour), and i just totally feel exhausted. I also sometimes have a tough time with temperature, jumping from hot to cold, but that is rare. Some facts about me are i am a 19yr old male, 6'1, 260, i don't drink, and i recreationally smoke marijuana(rarely), no cigarettes. I don't have med insurance so I can't afford a visit to a doctor unless it is absolutely required, so if there is ANYTHING that anyone could tell me about this, if it happened to you before,anything you could suggest, etc., please respond to this.

How long after taking Provera can you have unprotected sex?

I know my Dr told me to have protected sex 2 weeks before taking Provera to make sure I didn't get pregnant and obviously I wouldn't have unprotected sex while on Provera, but I am wondering how long after I take the last pill should I wait to have unprotected sex? Like how long does it stay in your system? I believe I read something like it stimulated your hormones something like 16-21 days after, but I'm am wondering if if that is from the first or last day you take the pills? I know this sounds like a dumb question, but I am married and we are trying to get pregnant, I am not taking Clomid with this cycle, we are seeing if the Provera would just do it... but I don't have another Dr appt until next month, I can always call and ask but I just wanted to see if anyone had this info before I did so. Betta fish is pale and unresponsive?

Brought him home about a month ago, first time with a Betta fish, or any fish for that matter. He was sick about 2 weeks ago because I was using tap water, I quickly went out and bought a water conditioner, but now he's having similar non-responsive symptoms; he is lying on the bottom of the tank, rarely being active and only going up for air, he is not eating, just spitting the pellets out, and this is what worries me most...he's very pale. He's usually a dark purple and light pink body but now hes almost orange and the purple is looking translucent. I did a water change today, and i'm going to fast him tomorrow and maybe the next day to make sure it's not constipation or swim bladder. (he's not swimming sideways yet..) I don't have a heater because our house is quite warm, but i've been doing water cycling today (taking out 2 cups of the water and replacing it with new hot conditioned water to raise the temperature a bit) The warm water seemed to help his activity but it does not explain the paleness and the lack of eating.. Can anyone throw perspective to this? (also his gills seem slightly swollen from the last ammonia shock...I really am trying to take good care of this fish.. About 5-6 weeks pregnant with spotting and cramping?

Just found out about a week ago that I was pregnant via a home pregnancy test. Been having mild cramping, nothing major, similar to the cramps I would get prior to the start of my cycle. Earlier today after using the bathroom there was a small amount of brownish blood on the tissue. I've read this to be normal so I laid down and rested for a bit. Now the blood is a bit more, still only noticeable on the tissue but it is more red in color, which concerns me. This will be my second child, but the last one was 9 years ago and I can't recall having any of this. Should I go ahead and get checked out or wait till next week when I see the OB/GYN for the first time?

Birth control question?

So im just wondering what your opinions are. I was on birth control for only a month but had to stop the last four active pills because they were making me sick. and then the next day I had my period for three days whens its normally 4-5. I usually have a 28 day cycle but now its 7 days (now going on a 35 day cycle) past when I should have gotten my period. I don't believe I have any thing to worry about (using the pull out method after I stopped the pill) but is this normal for the period to be pushed back or should it arrived on time? I'm just guessing my period has been out of wack because I stopped the pills early, but I'm not sure. Any opinions are helpful, thanks!

My cycles are usually 22 to 23 days. I was supppose to come on my cycle on the 30th but it came June 6th-11th. Now I am back on today which is the 30th. What's weird is I have only light spotting. Should I go on Accutane?

I am 17 and I first got acne when I was 13 and it got pretty bad until I was 15 when I went through a 5 month cycle of accutane. I was reasonably clear for about 2 years but its come back close to how bad it was originally. I am concerned about going on accutane again (all other treatments didn't work) because I have recently heard of all the horror stories of people getting Crohn's Disease and IBD while taking the drug, but so far the last time the only side effects I had was red dry skin. I am somewhat deciding just to wait out and hope that in time it will fade away but I know that is not the case for a lot of people. What do you think?

I'm fine with that but the thing that is starting to irritate me is that the heels are getting cheered. R-Truth has not only thrown a drink into the face of an audience member but has also stolen a Cena hat from a child. Yet, you will not hear the male audience chant "R-Truth sucks" but they will in fact cheer for the heel. I've noticed that on topics concerning John Cena only about half of the contributers to the thread (who dislike Cena) have actual reasoning as to why they dislike Cena. So my problem is a fairly recent one. I've been road cycling since December last year, even through the brutal weather, with a cyclist friend. But now i don't think he wants to go cycling with me any more. What am I to do now with no cyclist companions to cycle with? Which Universal Animal product should I cycle first, Animal Test Or Animal Cuts?

My job combined with my home life and college creates lots of stress and anxiety for me, I have constant stimuli, excitement, and commotion coming at me from all angles. I am naturally more of an introverted shy person and rarely get to have peace. I still live at home and also have other brothers and sisters, I have my own space but there is constant noise and commotion. The only real time when I'm am able to get away from the madness is when I am outside of that realm Since I have no peace I make my own peace, I recede into myself and kind of live in my own little world. At school and work I am very quiet and dont talk much and kind of have a straight to the point no nonsense type of attitude. I am not a bad looking guy and I get approached by women all of the time I get smiles and greetings, but alot of the times I dont feel like talking or getting in long drawn out conversation beacuse of all thats going on in my life. I dont really like small talking and I dont feel like deciphering the jokes or sarcasm that is associated with the flirting. I also tend to keep a plain face, I work at a hospital so that makes it even worse. A women will approach me very happily with a big smile and say " Hello" I will reply with a simple hello, Hi, or headnod, they stand and look and look sad sometimes like I crushed them or they look offended like they expected someting more. Ever since freshman year are councilors at my school told us to start looking at colleges and majors that intrest us. you don't need to change all the water, just do 25% when changing and unless your over feeding you shouldn't have to clean everything off. Sometimes it's over kill on feeding and water changing can make them sick. A betta can live in a mud hole. They are strong fish in other words. The thing with these are you don't know the age of the fish and some times they're just old. If he's building his nest and all seems fine then he probably is great. Make sure he don't have ick, white spots on him. I always turn power off and clean my filter then I do a water change of 25% or up to 50 if your water is really dirty. The Bacteria base is in the gravel and should be ok.

I did and the show was crazy. Everybody kept climbing on the stage and the security guards pushed them back in the pit and on my first attempt to climb the stage this security guard that looked like a bearded Severas Snape chucked me back in the bit. My second attempt was when someone else went back on stage and I climbed on as well and he chucked us both back in the pit. My third attempt was when there was a small pitch invasion and we were all chanting "Deicide! Deicide! Deicide!" but the security guards chucked us all back into the pit. I then got on the stage when Deicide was playing Sacrificial Suicide and I did a stage dive just as Glen Benton shouted "take me!" at the end of the song. It was a good night as well!

How soon after a BBT drop should I generally except to start a new cycle?

I was on clomid for the first time this cycle. It made me ovulate but I did not get preggers this time. My temps usually are in the upper 96 degree range throughout my entire cycle since I do not ovulate on my own. But since I took clomid and actually ovulated my temps went up to the middle 98 degree range and have been there for 14 days in a row now. Today is 15 DPO for me and it dropped down almost an entire degree. I am not sure how this works since BBT charting never worked before for me without clomid. Should I be getting my period soon since I had such a drop? How soon should I expect it? Im kinda in a rush since I will be going out of the country soon and need it to show up now!

You need to be asking your doctor what the problem is, and what to do about it. I would probably call the doctor first and ask them what is causing this. If you do not have a doctor who will help you figure out what is wrong, then you need to go to a different doctor.

I'm taking birth control pills and why is my cycle starting in the first week?

I've been taking birth control consistently for four months. Every thing was normal. I had my normal menstrual cycle and it stopped almost two weeks ago. I am now just getting through the first week of a new packet. I started bleeding today after having sex. To be honest the sex was painful during penetration. I also have been experiencing sharp breast pain with slight nipple stimulation, bouts of crying, and food cravings. I haven't got a clue of what is going on with me. That is probably because your seat and more frame size needs to be adjusted. Generally when i go riding i get a little ache because my seat is up high so i can extend my legs to their full length so i can get as much power out of them as possible. Ive never found a solution however, that solves the problem without creating another. If you lower your seat your back pain will be less of a problem but its not healthy for your knees to be bent all the time.

Well to start off 4 days ago my breasts started to hurt they felt heavy and like something was pulling on them, also around the same time I was feeling a slight cramp, I was 3 days late for my cycle, but now that I've started I'm not so sure its a cycle more like spotting, my usual cycle color is more a dark brownish like red however this bleeding is more of a bright red, I can clearly notice the difference, the cramps and breast changes still haven't gone and I've gotten a few more back pains, plus the blood isn't how my usual cycle is as far as how much is coming out, its fairly light like two or 3 spots when I check it,! About 5-6 weeks pregnant with spotting and cramping?

Just found out about a week ago that I was pregnant via a home pregnancy test. Been having mild cramping, nothing major, similar to the cramps I would get prior to the start of my cycle. Earlier today after using the bathroom there was a small amount of brownish blood on the tissue. I've read this to be normal so I laid down and rested for a bit. Now the blood is a bit more, still only noticeable on the tissue but it is more red in color, which concerns me. This will be my second child, but the last one was 9 years ago and I can't recall having any of this. That being said, hit the laptop manufacturer's website and grab the latest drivers. If you can play it then it'll have to be on minimal settings. Bear in mind that Frictional Games (the site you should have checked when looking at system requirements) says that integrated graphics may not work.
